Principal: Veronica King
Veronica is delighted to be turning her long-term passion and hobby into a professional career.
After fifteen years in the physical commodity trading industry, which included stints in Japan and London, Veronica created King Thoroughbreds in 2004 with the intention to supply a refreshing approach to horse ownership. As an owner of horses and participant in the racing industry she understands the all-important thrill of owning a winning horse, which she would like to share with you.
Veronica has been working full-time with Bart Cummings at his Sydney stables since early 2003 fulfilling the role of thoroughbred sales support and marketing, which includes attending to horse purchases, sales and registrations, communications with owners and studs and managing the Bart Cummings website. She regularly attends yearling sales, horse trials, races and industry functions in order to update existing and potential owners on their horse's progress and to keep abreast of the industry.

Services:
A great deal of detail, planning and co-ordination goes into training a racehorse. Trainers are kept busy with many aspects and work long hours. There is little time to attract new owners and provide the detail on the horse's progress as required by owners today.
A support service, such as syndication and accounts management, is an essential tool for any successful metropolitan trainer. King Thoroughbreds will provide that support service whereby it will initially seek out owners, answer queries and provide the relevant documents. Owners will then be provided with ongoing information and services to keep them involved in the progression of their horses.

The major issue with regards to a horse's future beyond metropolitan racing is the sex of the horse :
A filly, mare, colt or stallion will have breeding potential which you may wish to pursue yourself, or alternatively, King Thoroughbreds can recommend a suitable mating, locate a suitable buyer or assist with a location for your horse.
A gelding is highly desirable for country or overseas racing, or general equestrian events, again you may wish to pursue these options yourself, or alternatively, King Thoroughbreds can locate a suitable buyer or trainer for you. |
